Situated to the south of Calcutta, this UNESCO world heritage site is home to the largest population of wild tiger in the world. Spreading over 54 islands The Sunderbans provides the lifeblood for many communities in the region. Join the experts to explore this region by boat and on foot to study the diverse wildlife. You will also visit a crocodile breeding farm, monitor cats and reptiles and visit and support the small communities of this vast delta. Bali Nature and Wildlife Conservation Society is a grass roots conservation NGO, established by the people of Bali village in the Sunderbans with the objective of safeguarding the unique ecosystems and diverse wildlife of the region.

Expertise

Tanmoy Ghosh
Tanmoy has a degree in Zoology and now works as a field biologist and conservationist within the Sunderbans National Park. Tanmoy will lead this tour alongside local trackers and spotters.
