EAST GREENLAND EXPEDITIONARY CRUISE - SCORESBY SUND

East Greenland Expeditionary Cruise: Scoresby Sund

Overview

Greenland is the largest island in the world, located where the Atlantic meets the Arctic Ocean, and therefore surrounded by cold ocean currents.

Nevertheless, Greenland is home to an array of wildlife found nowhere else on earth: eight species of whale including Bowheads, pods of Narwhals or ‘unicorn whales’ and Beluga or ‘White whales’, millions of seals, walruses, Polar bears, reindeer, Musk oxen, Arctic hares, Arctic wolves and a spectacular variety of birds. It is inhabited by less than 100000 Inuit people, with a fascinating history and culture. Email or Call Us on +44 (0)1285 643333 for a detailed itinerary
