TANMOY GHOSH
Tanmoy Ghosh
Born in Rural Bengal, Tanmoy Ghosh grew up with a keen interest in wildlife which was further accentuated while studying for his Bachelor’s programme in Zoology at the University of Burdwan. During university field days, Tanmoy worked alongside some of India’s outstanding biologists which led him to pursue a career in field biology and conservation.
Tanmoy has also developed skills in wildlife photography and film making, working with the BBC Natural History Unit, Discovery Channel and Lion TV as a resource person for their signature projects. He has also worked as a part time field coordinator for WWF-India in the Sunderbans, and has led a number of biological survey expeditions in critically important ecosystems and uninhabited wilderness areas of East Himalaya
Tanmoy is now the Chief Naturalist for Help Tourism and the lead resource person of the film support division of the organization.
