Kieran is the new Managing Director of Discovery Initiatives. He has worked in the travel industry for over 20 years and settled in London after travelling through Europe and North America after studying.

 

He lived in Spain for 1 year working on a sail boat carrying tourists between Cullera and Ibiza, and has lived and worked in South Africa, Australia, Spain, America (San Francisco and Los Angeles) and China. He is passionate about the people and cultures of Egypt, but equally enjoys his long week-ends visiting friends in Spain or family in Ireland.

 

Whilst working in China, south of Shanghai as a teacher he spent every other week-end travelling and exploring the wonders of rural China and has visited Beijing and Hong Kong. Kieran has worked at Thomson Tui, STA Travel and Discover the World.
