Dawn Smith

Born and raised in South Wales, Dawn caught the travel bug at an early age and has spent over 18 years living and working in various countries across the globe. In Kenya she lived outside a Maasai Village, has visited Canada, France, Cuba, and travelled independently around Venezuela canoeing to Angel Falls. Mexico has become her second home and after 5 years living and working there Dawn returned to the UK and joined a Luxury Tour Operator. The gems of Latin / Central America including Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica, with its incredible biodiversity and The Galapagos Islands are some of the highlights of her travels. She loves the Latin culture and is a Spanish speaker. An avid scuba-diver, PADI certified based, she has swam with dolphins and dived with sharks! Dawn is our Country Director for Latin America and brings with her a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for this diverse part of the world.
