Gabon Trips

Gabon is home to unexplored wilderness. The forests of this area contain a fabulous wealth and variety of flora and wildlife including forest elephant, lowland gorilla, chimpanzees, monkeys including mandrill, together with birdlife.

Situated on the Equator, its coastline offer pristine beaches and a vast network of rivers that nourishes exceptional biodiversity. Applauded for its recent conservation initiatives, turning 11% of its landmass into National parks, it is still for the intrepid traveller, with Petit Luango on the coast and Ivindo and Lope rainforests worth visiting.

Gabon has the moist, hot climate. From June to September, there is no rain but high humidity. Little rain in December and January but the rest rainfall is heavy.
