Kenya Trips

Kenya is back after its election crisis. All safari destinations and the coast are idyllic at the moment and free from most other tourists! There could not be a better time to go.

Just a quick note to say all is going very well so far. Have loved Elsa’s Kopje!! Amazing perfect camp. Am off today to Naibor. Looking forward to a new experience. It has all gone very smoothly and no signs of any violence at all. I hear it is calming but not seen or heard news since Friday!! Life in the bush!! I am SO pleased I decided to come. It has so far been fantastic and am very happy. Met some great people at Elsa’s as well.

Kenya is one of the most scenically diverse and dramatic landscapes in Africa. Boasting some of the richest game in Africa; its parks and reserves abound with elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, predators and antelope, and a 1000 species of bird.

Our focus is the little known regions and lodges owned or run by local Maasai or Samburu communities or old Kenyan family ranches, walking and mobile camping to areas that few visit, yet are fascinating and contain a huge variety of wildlife, located close to the main wildlife parks. Here you will stay at some truly beautiful camps, lodges or homes and experience the wonderful hospitality of Maasai or Samburu hosts or Kenyan ‘oldtimers’.

Best time to travel outside the long rains from March to May and short rains from October to December.
