Discovery Initiatives has developed a range of unique family holidays to inspire and motivate children and their parents, to enjoy and understand wilderness and natural history, in a way that no other holiday or even school can.

We recognise the hardest part of a holiday with children is being constantly on the move. Our family holidays are about staying for extended periods of time in one area – on a boat in the Galapagos, at a safari lodge in East or Southern Africa, or in the rainforest of Borneo, so you have time to allow nature to work its magic and find you – rather than pursing a hectic itinerary to track it down!

All incorporate a range of structured, flexible child friendly activities run by expert naturalists that will enchant and inform children and parents alike and offer a glimpse into the natural world.
