Uganda is a land of true contrasts as it is here that the eastern savannah meets the Western African jungle with dramatic effect. This unique eco-system has led to an astonishing diversity, from the source of the White Nile to the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, the forests and volcanoes and to the desert plains of Karamoja in the North.
No other African destination has the range of habitats that can be seen in Uganda and this in turn creates some of the most varied wildlife experiences possible. From Gorilla and Chimp tracking, to big five game viewing, and one of the best birding regions in Africa, all amongst some of the warmest people in Africa.
Warm conditions and sunshine most of the year but avoid the long rains from March to May.
