Antarctica – the mere name makes one shudder. The coldest, driest and windiest place on earth, cannot be described by words alone. It is still virtually unexplored, with its fabulous and pristine wildlife haven set in an awe inspiring scenery of mountains, snow and sculptured and twisted ice. Today it can now be safely enjoyed by nature travellers aboard ice strengthened cruise boats.
Explore vast colonies of penguins, observe some of the great whales, watch hundreds of seals, and marvel at the extraordinary variety of icebergs. The vistas are magnificent, with towering glaciers and dramatic cliffs.
