RWANDA
Rwanda Gorilla Safaris, Gorilla Trekking
Rwanda is without doubt, synonymous with the mountain gorilla. The chance to track these magnificent creatures deep in the heart of the mountain rainforest, represents for many, the ultimate wildlife encounter and should not be missed. However, Rwanda has so much more to offer. Wild chimpanzees, open savannah full of game, but devoid of tourists, incredible birdlife, stunning lakes on the shores of sleepy tropical towns, active volcanoes, huge swathes of tropical forest, banana plantations and the famous patchwork fields, ensures everywhere you look is a photo opportunity.
The sheer beauty of the country, the iconic mountain gorilla and the warmth of the Rwandese people, means that Rwanda is one of the most positive and exciting wildlife experiences you can have.
As tragic as the problems being reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo are, the safety and security of our clients on any of our tours is paramount. Given our long standing presence in the area and the advice from our close network of contacts in the region who keep us regularly update of any changes, we are continuing to run our tours to Rwanda and Uganda.
Our decision to operate in the area is reflected in the Foreign and Commonwealth travel advice for the region which categorically states it is safe to travel to the areas in which we operate. Should you have any questions at all with regards to our tours, please feel free to call our office and speak to either Mandy or Chris who will be happy to answer any questions and put your mind at rest.
