With its unspoiled wilderness and outstanding variety of wildlife, Zimbabwe is an exceptional destination for seeing game.  Many endangered species that once roamed a good part of the continent can still be found in the reserves here.  Zimbabwe has one of the longest and proudest conservation records in Africa, as well as some of the finest national parks. 

Hwange National Park, in the northwest corner of the country, abuts the Kalahari basin and is famous for its elephant herds.  Not far north is Victoria Falls, one of the worlds great natural wonders and the core of a safari area bordering the western arm of the Zambezi River.
