Being blessed with some of the highest densities of lowland gorillas and forest elephants in Africa, but hindered by lack of infrastructure and resources, the Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic are in a precarious postition. Whilst wildlife viewing may not be something you would associate with the area, the parks found here are both incredibly wild and absolutely stunning. Glide down tropical rivers, floating past remote fishing villages, whilst the mysterious congo rainforest reveals it's secrets for those prepared to relive the true spirit of adventure.

 

Lowland gorillas, chimpanzees, forest elephants, Ba'Aka tribes, hundreds of bird species and thousands of plant species, all co-exist in a living greenhouse in pre-historic forests. However, the chance to set foot in the virgin rainforests of the Congo and come face-to-face with lowland gorillas, or the elusive forest elephant will be unlike any other African adventure.
