The Galapagos Conservation Trust
The Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is a UK registered set up to raise funds for, and awareness of, the conservation needs of the Galapagos Islands. GCT was launched in 1995 with the aim of conserving the ecosystems and biological diversity of the Galapagos archipelago. GCT works with the key institutions in Galapagos. It is affiliated to the international network of Friends of Galapagos organisations, which is also represented in the USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the Nordic Countries, and New Zealand and Japan.
Discovery Initiatives contributes annual membership to every client travelling to the Galapagos.
